Day 1 - Late afternoon departure on-board a flight from Newark to Lisbon, Portugal.

Day 2 - Morning arrival in Lisbon, the Capitol City of Portugal. Transfer north to Fatima, arriving mid-day at the Casa das Irmas Dominicanas. Late afternoon visit to the Sanctuary of Fatima, where in 1917, three shepherd children received the most beautiful visitor from Heaven. See the apparition chapel and the Basilica of the Rosary wherein are the tombs of the shepherds. Every night pilgrims gather at the Sanctuary for the recitation of the Holy Rosary and a candlelight procession.

Day 3 - Morning visit to the hamlet of Aljustrel where the shepherd children lived with their families. Take in the unspoiled beauty of the fields of olive trees as we walk the cobblestone path to Valinhos (place of the Aug. 1917 apparition) and Loca Cabeco (place of the Angel's apparitions in 1916). See the home of Jacinta and Francisco and their parish church. In the afternoon visit the Peace and Light Museum to see the many beautiful gifts that have been given to the shrine over the years.

Day 4 - An excursion through the scenic Portuguese countryside to the Atlantic coastline. Along the way visit a historic landmark attesting to the ages of faith in Portugal: the gothic Monastery of Batalha, built in fulfillment of a promise made to Our Lady. Upon reaching the Atlantic, visit the traditional fishing resort of Nazare, famous for its stunning beaches, typical fisherman’s houses and steep cliffs overlooking the bright blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. See a revered image of Our Lady nursing the Child Jesus, believed to have been carved by St. Luke. Enjoy lunch on the sea before a late afternoon return to Fatima.

Day 5 - This morning set out along the Hungarian Calvary to contemplate the Stations of the Cross. These stations were donated by the Hungarian Freedom Fighters and the path is the same distance as the Via Sacra in Jerusalem. Afternoon at leisure giving time to discover Fatima's hidden jewels.

Day 6 - An excursion to the ancient university city of Coimbra, founded in the 13th century on the banks of the Mondego River. Here Lucia, the oldest of the Fatima seers, lived for over fifty years prior to her death in 2005. Visit her Carmel and the nearby Church of Santa Clara dedicated to Portugal's revered queen and patron saint, Isabella. After lunch in one of the city's fine restaurants, stop at the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest and most prestigious centers of learning in Europe, boasting of St. Anthony as one of its first students. See its magnificent 18th century Baroque library. Late afternoon return to Fatima. This evening all are welcome to attend the vigil celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the October 13th Fatima apparition with a special Rosary & candlelight procession at the Sanctuary.

Day 7 - Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the last apparition of Our Lady at Fatima and the great miracle of the sun, witnessed by over 70,000, skeptics and believers alike. Join with pilgrims from around the world for the Rosary and Holy Mass at the Sanctuary. Afternoon departure for Lisbon. Late afternoon arrival at Hotel Mundial in the heart of Lisbon with views of the Castle of St. George in the hills above the city.

Day 8 - A wonderful day in Portugal's Old World capital city of Lisbon. Visit the convent (a former orphanage) that little Jacinta of Fatima stayed in before her death in Lisbon. Then drive along the picturesque River Tagus, passing by the impressive Christo Rey Monument. Stop at the historical Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery, both telling of the great Age of Navigations; a time when Portugal changed the course of history, discovering such faraway lands as India and Brazil. Visit the Church of St. Anthony, built over the beloved saints birthplace, in the ancient Alfama district. Time in the afternoon at leisure. Evening celebratory Farewell Dinner.

Day 9 - Morning departure for the Lisbon Airport to board a non-stop transatlantic flight to Newark. Mid-afternoon arrival at Newark (NJ) Liberty Airport.
